About Me

When I was first approached with the proposition of buying a mold inspection company, I had to first be educated that the industry even existed. Fresh out of business school, “Indoor Environmental Professional” was not on my list of dream career fields; it highlighted no particular passion or talent of mine; and to top it all off, it didn’t even sound interesting. Seven years later, after crawling through thousands of crawlspaces and attics, seeing entire homes literally consumed by mold, and meeting some fascinating people, I have learned a lot about job fulfillment, opportunity cost, and building and operating a business. This blog hopes to capture some of stories along the way.
